The Apple PowerCD was introduced in summer 1993. It can read CD-ROM-discs, Kodak PhotoCDs and play Compact Discs. It can connect to the HiFi-System and the SCSI-Connecter allows to connect it to the Macintosh. It could also get connected to the TV for viewing the Photo-CDs. The PowerCD can be used with Batteries with it makes it a good device for early Powerbook with no CD-drive.
